Triang Wooden Dining Room

The Triang Wooden Dining Room Furniture WDR/1 consists of 6 pieces, a table, 4 chairs and a 4 door sideboard.  This set of dining room furniture was only produced in 1963.

WDR/1 DINING ROOM FURNITURE

There is a replacement leg on the second chair.

The door handles are made from a wooden bead with a pin.

The sideboard has 4 opening doors.  There is no disguising the little pins used as hinges top and bottom of the door.

The back of the sideboard is made of cardboard.

This is a very simple style of furniture when you consider the Period Furniture Triang produced before, which was of fine quality and detail.  Perhaps it was reflecting the style  of the time.

Triang produced this furniture range in 1963, only 3 sets of room settings were made, single bedroom, double bedroom and dining room.
