This lovely Triang No.1 shop has just been sold on Ebay [2 October 2017]. I did bid, but unfortunately I was very unlucky and did not win.
This Shop was produced during the years 1932 and 1935, it measures 19.5″ x 18″ x 11″. I like the blind effect above the shop, and the shutters next to the windows [very Triang].

Front opening, showing the downstairs shop area with display shelves and shop counter. There is a staircase leading up to the two rooms.

The stairs lead into the top small room, with original wall and floor papers. Nice original spiders webs too.

This room is conected to the small room by an internal door. It has original wall and floor paper, also an original Triang Fireplace. There are a few pieces of metal furniture, but I am not sure of the maker.

This is the door on the left of the shop showing the letter box on the door, and the red Post Office box on the side.

I am sure the little stickers could be carefully removed. The windows look in good condition and the shutters look quite bright.

All this lovely little shop needs is a gentle clean, and shelves stocked ready to welcome its customers….
All Hogspear’s ebay kit is sourced privately, totally genuine and fresh to the market from some of Britains finest attics. Occasionally, some ladies’ items are offered, mostly belonging to the Captain’s elderly mother, the Dowager Lady Hogspear.
Fabulous shop, thank you for sharing (and duch a pity you were outbid). The lovely metal furniture is by Holdfast.
Hi yes I saw this on Ebay but I think it was Collection only and too far for me. Shame you missed out on it, I would have loved to renovate this one. Karen.
I have only ever seen one before, so quite rare I think. Would have loved to have won it. Had been planning all week what I would put on the shelves in the shop. Oh well I shall have to dream….
