All Tri-ang Doll’s House Pieces are designed to go happily together. The enterprising doll can buy the furniture shown in this enchanting living room piece and be quite confident of harmonious results. For example, the sofa in the background may be obtained as these separate easy chairs, either toning or in contrasting colours. The winged three-piece suite is more luxurious but well worth that little extra; and the adjustable bureau, the bookshelves, T.V. and Hi-Fi contribute to the atmosphere of culture and relaxation.
The Wing Settee and Wing Chair came in various colours, all in moulded plastic with metal legs. The style of these chair look odd, but are a reflection of the style of the time. They are based on the G Plan Range, I have pictures of a full size set on Triang Style and Design.
The early bookcase had a metal base with short legs, in the Jenny’s range it changed to plastic. The Bookcase contains various moulded plastic books.
The Jennys Home bookcase was the same style as the original Triang, the difference is the base. It is now moulded into the main part of the bookcase, instead of being metal.
This Philips Radiogram has a drop down flap on the right which contains the record player. On the left is the radio with two small knobs. The Radiogram is made from moulded plastic, and has a metal base with long thin legs.
The Bush TV sets came with the stand in the same box. The stand is on a metal base with thin metal legs. The above picture shows two of the styles of TV, one with a black surround and one with a walnut style surround.
This Writing Bureau with an opening drop front and top panel revealing two small draws and little shelves and cubby holes. It is on a metal base with short metal legs.
The G Plan TV Chair is of a rather unusual style, but being of its time. It is made of moulded plastic to represent upholstery, with a metal base with short legs splaying forward and back, they were produced in various colours.
The Lounge Box Set comprised of T.V. Chair, Wing Settee, Wing Chair, Bookcase, T.V. and Table
